Type: Part Time | Location: Dallas, Perry, and Wilcox Counties, Alabama
Responsibilities
- Provide peer support to youth based on shared lived experience
- Document services and information in the electronic health record system
- Obtain and maintain certification as a Certified Youth Peer Specialist
- Collaborate with treatment team members to support each client’s recovery plan
- Travel to service sites across all three counties in the service area
Qualifications
- Must have lived experience as a member of the target population (youth or young adult mental health services)
- High school diploma required
- Computer literacy skills required
- Valid Alabama driver’s license required
- Applicants must disclose any medical conditions that restrict driving ability
