Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services to assigned clients, including individual and group work aligned with treatment plans
  • Conduct home visits and identify client needs in a timely manner
  • Help consumers develop coping, communication, and social skills
  • Assist with problem-solving and self-help skill development
  • Support the creation and monitoring of Personal Recovery Plans by sharing lived experience
  • Maintain client files and complete required documentation and progress notes
  • Participate in team meetings, assessments, and training workshops
  • Operate Center vehicles in accordance with safety protocols

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Valid Alabama driver’s license required
  • Lived experience as a parent of a child who has received mental health services — this experience is used to mentor and support other parents
  • Willingness to use supervision and consultation as needed
