Rural Crisis Coordinator / Therapist in our Selma, AL office

Job Description

Master’s level role responsible for the coordination of the Rural Crisis Program, its services, and the Rural Crisis Program staff. The coordinator: provides crisis intervention, clinical assessments, and follow-up therapy as applicable to the consumer; monitors the transition of consumers in crisis to outpatient services; administers evaluations for individuals identified through Probate Court and county jail; assists with initiating hospitalization for acute psychiatric placements; and participates as a member of the on-call Emergency Services Team.


Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
Professional License preferred but license eligible will be considered
Current AL driver's license
